Procedure for RCAT

RCAT is an entrance test for admission to undergraduate Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA – General) Bachelor of Business Administration – Travel & Tourism (BBA-T&T) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme. The test will be held at Rosary College.

*NRI Students are excluded from answering RCAT. 
  1. Eligibility- The minimum qualification for BBA/BBA (T&T) and BCA is 10+2 from a recognized board. Students who have appeared for XII standard exams can also answer the RCAT.
  2. RCAT is only for those students who want to pursue BBA/ BBA (T&T) and BCA in Rosary College.
  3. Candidates who wish to apply for the RCAT are required to apply online on the College website on the following link: www.rosarymis.com/entrance.
  4. Candidates have to fill the registration form online alongwith the required details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID and upload your latest photograph.
  5. Students answering RCAT have to compulsorily download and print the Admit Card after filling all the above details.
  1. Students are required to report at the main entrance of the College at 8.45 a.m.
  2. Students have to compulsory carry a copy of their admit card at the time of answering the RCAT exam.
  3. Any identity proof as given below is required at the time of the test:
  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • Voter ID Card
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)
  1. Bags, books or any copy material, mobile phones, watches, Bluetooth enabled and any other smart electronic gadgets and any form of communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  2. No candidates will be allowed to enter the test centre 30 minutes after commencement of the test.
  3. Students will be allowed to carry only their necessary stationary for e.g. pen, pencil, scale, and eraser inside the campus, sharing of personal belongings/ stationary will not be permitted inside the examination hall.
  1. Students seeking admission to the BBA/BBA(T&T) and BCA Programme are required to have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSSCE) of Class XII in any stream, conducted by the Goa Board or a Board recognized as equivalent there to with the minimum aggregate marks of 50%.
  2. Students seeking admission to BBA/BBA (T&T) and BCA have to compulsorily fill the online admission form on the SAMARTH Portal (https://goaadmission.samarth.ac.in/) from 27th May to 7th June 2024.
  3. The entrance exam for BBA and BBA (T&T) will be conducted on 10th June 2024 at 9.00 a.m. whereas for BCA the entrance exam will be conducted on 13th June 2024 at 9.00 a.m.
  4. Students seeking admission for BBA & BBA(T&T) will be shortlisted based on  the aggregate of marks obtained at the Board Exam along with the marks scored at the Entrance Exams and personal interview
  5. Students seeking admission for BCA will be shortlisted based on the aggregate of marks obtained at the Board Exam along with the marks scored at the Entrance Exams.
  6. In BBA and BBA (T&T) the performance of the students for the entrance exam (RCAT) will be converted into 50% weightage, the Personal interview will have a weightage of 30% and the marks obtained by the student at the XIIth standard Board Exam will be converted into 20% weightage. A merit list will be prepared by adding all the three scores obtained by the student.
  7. In BCA the performance of the student for the entrance exam (RCAT) will be converted into 60% weightage and the marks obtained by the students at the XIIth standard Board Exam will be converted into 40% weightage. A merit list will be prepared by adding both the scores obtained by the student.
  8. For BBA and BBA (T&T) the date for the personal interview will be announced later.
  9. Students whose names appear in the merit list will be called to complete the final admission procedure including payment of fees.
