Her research interests span HUIM, optimisation algorithms, and Generative AI. She has published and presented multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed Springer volumes and at international conferences, including Minor Research Project for GIPARD, Goa.  In addition, guided impactful student projects, in web and app development, ML, IoT, blockchain, and related technologies. The ‘Greenhouse Monitoring and Controlling System’, received special recognition at the Kalpak Event, DHE Goa. She has actively contributed to curriculum design and development as a member of the BoS, Goa University(2015–2018), the Curriculum Development Committees (NEP and CBCS), and the Academic Audit Committee for the BCA Programme. Her areas of interest include Natural language processing, data structures and data mining. She is a quick learner and has good interpersonal skills. She likes to read and keep herself updated about the recent trends in technology.

Mrs. Rajlakshmi Metri is working as an Asst. Professor in the Department of Computer Application of Rosary College since 2011. She has been in several college committees over the years.  She has conducted number of seminars / workshops for students and has also participated in various Faculty Development Programmes. She was instrumental in framing the syllabi for the CBCS curriculum under Goa University and has also guided undergraduate projects.’. She keeps updating herself with the latest knowledge in her discipline and likes to interact with the students on various topics. Her areas of interest include Object Oriented Concepts, Python and Internet of Things.
