Prof.Helic M. Barretto has  Joined Rosary College in 1994. He has been a member of the BOS in Commerce. He has presented 9 research papers at International and National Conferences as well as Seminars. He completed his Ph.D in the subject Commerce from Goa University in January 2021.

Mr. Jim Barreto is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce. He has joined the institution in the year 1995. His research focus on Trade Unionism in Goa. He has published his research in the prestigious ‘Management and Labour Studies’ Journal published by Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur. He has published two research papers in the Rosary College in-house journal ‘Gyana’. He was awarded “Goa Liberation Council Scholarship for the year 1994-95 for securing highest marks in the B.Ed examination held in April 1995.

He has been the Associate NCC Officer of Rosary College for nine years and has undergone PRCN and refresher training at Officer Training School, Kamptee, Nagpur.

Name: Captain (Dr.) Juao Costa

Captain (Dr.) Juao Costa teaches subjects like Accounting, Finance and Management. He has published more than 25 research articles and two books. He has presented papers at  international and national conferences. Captain (Dr.) Costa has also held various positions such as Acting Principal, Vice- Principal, NSS Programme Officer. He is presently in-charge of the NCC unit of the college. He has been presented with various awards such as DDG Commendation card for best NCC officer, Best Paper award and KA award for best lighting.

 Joined the Department of Commerce at Rosary College in 2009. She currently teaches Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Income Tax to the undergraduate students of the college. Besides this, she conducts remedial coaching for weaker students as well as special classes for bright students.  She has been associated with various committees in the college including the IQAC, Outreach Cell, Xikta Xikta Zodd (Earn while you learn) and the committee for CA-CPT/Competitive Exams. She has also been in-charge of conducting short term courses for students of the college. Presently she is persuing Ph.D in Commerce from Goa University. She loves reading and travelling.

Asst. Prof. Shilpa Korde works at the Department of Commerce at Rosary College. Her area of specialization is Financial Accounting. She has published five research articles in refereed journals as well as attended various seminars, workshops, conferences and Faculty Development Programmes. She has undergone a PRCN training course of the National Cadet Corps at Gwalior for three months and was awarded a Lieutenant Rank as an Associate NCC Officer in March 2010. She has organised student seminars, various state level seminars and coordinated the activities of several cells and committees of the college including the Women’s Cell, Anti Ragging Cell and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee. Mohan Undakoti joined Rosary College in 2013. He has specialized in Business Management and Financial Services. He currently teaches Marketing Management, Retail Management, and Advertising Management to Under-Graduate students. He has been South- Goa District Nodal Officer for Swachh Bharat Summer Internship (SBSI), Chairperson, Board of Examiners in Advertising Management Paper.

He has been part of several committees of the College such as NSS (3 years as Programme Officer and 4 years as NSS Incharge), Member of Admission Committee for B.Com, Convenor of Xikta Xikta Zodd Cell, Convenor of Commerce Association, Convenor of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Member of T.Y. She has completed her Ph.D in commerce from Goa University on the topic “Entrepreneur quality of life in the Tourism sector in Goa”.
