The Department of Business Administration offers a degree program leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA). A pioneer in BBA education in the state of Goa, the course has been developing young minds and creating entrepreneurs since 2000. The course is self-financed and is affiliated to the Goa University

Asst. Prof. Thereza Lavita D’costa has rejoined the Department of Business Administration of Rosary College in September 2020. She has also worked in the BBA Department of the College from 2011 till 2015. She completed her Masters in Commerce from the University of Mumbai specializing in Accounts. She has also completed her MBA from ICFAI University with a specialization in Finance. She has worked as an Excise Executive handling all the Excise processes for Tonia Group, Goa. As a person she takes a keen interest to learn as well as share her knowledge and experience with the people around her.

He is a Certified Six Sigma Executive- Black Belt (CSSE-BB). He is trained in Classical Carnatic Sangeet (Vocals). He is pursuing Ph.D. from Goa University.

Ms. Neshca Da Costa has been associated with the Department of Business Administration as an Assistant Professor since 2015. A certified TL 9000 Internal Auditor, she possesses extensive expertise in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Retail Management, and Case Writing and Analysis. Her professional journey also encompasses significant corporate experience in Kuwait, where she served in a managerial capacity with Landmark Group, one of the region’s leading retail conglomerates. In addition, she has gained valuable industry exposure through her association with Finesco Trading(Kuwait), CommScope India, Karma Group. Her blend of academic proficiency and corporate experience enriches her teaching and contributes to a practical, industry-oriented approach to management education. Ms. Lisa Maria Abranches is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration. She brings over a decade of corporate experience to her teaching, having held strategic HR leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, and SAP Labs, and served as Head of HR at the logistics startup Opinio. She holds a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications, an MBA from the Goa Institute of Management, a PGCHRM from XLRI (where she ranked 3rd), and an LL.B. (earning the Best Student Advocate Award). Her industry contributions have been recognized with multiple “HR Oscar” awards at Unilever’s South Asia HR Conference. At Rosary College, she leverages her extensive corporate insights to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world business practice. Prior to teaching, I have experience as an AI tutor; training and editing AI models to work effectively. As a teacher, I aim to make learning fun and interactive. In addition, I have been performing in choirs and teaching piano for over eight years.
