The department of BBA (Travel & Tourism) was established in the year 2011. It offers full time self financed degree program in BBA-T&T affiliated to Goa University. The objective of the program is to prepare the students to take up challenges and responsibilities with specialized knowledge and practical skills that employers look for in the candidate.

Ms. Maya joined Rosary College in the year 2011. She has total of 13 years of teaching experience. Prior to Rosary College, she taught at St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, for four years. She handles various duties and responsibilities as Course Coordinator, as Class Teacher and Mentor, as member of various committees of the college, for the smooth conduct of the Programme. She teaches papers like Fundamentals of Tourism Industry, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Tourism Products of India, Event Management, Global Distribution System, Total Quality Management, and Retail Management. She organizes various activities for the benefit of the students such as seminars, workshops, field trips, study tours, industry visits, etc. She is pursuing Ph.D from Goa University.

Surabhi Gore joined Rosary College in 2012. She teaches tourism and management subjects to the undergraduate students of the department. Besides teaching, she is also involved in the research and administrative work of the department, student mentoring and career guidance. Her research interests are in the field of strategy, tourism planning, tourism destination management and customer relationship management. Ms Gore has published research papers in Scopus, UGC care and other peer-reviewed multidisciplinary and tourism journals.

Ms. Flina is a proud alumnus of Rosary College. She is highly dedicated and an enthusiastic individual with good skills of multi-tasking. She teaches papers such as Destination Management, Employee Engagement, Strategic Management, Economics of Tourism, Presentation Skills, Case Analysis & Negotiation Skills. She also has corporate experience as a Marketing Executive & HR intern. Her area of interest is Travelling & Reading.

Ms. Shraddha Bhat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism and Travel Management at Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Goa. She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad, where she secured the first rank with a CGPA of 9. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Administration from Karnatak University, Dharwad, achieving the first rank with 82%. Ms. Bhat has qualified the UGC-NET (for PhD only) and secured the highest score in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Tourism and Travel Management. She has 2.4 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at KLE Society’s S. Nijalingappa College, Bengaluru. In addition to her academic background, she brings industry exposure through her work with People Are Culture (Boston, USA), the Ministry of Tourism in Bangalore, and Angriya Cruise.
Her subject expertise includes Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Management.
Ms. Bhat has contributed to academic research through a book chapter on climate change and an outstanding-rated research project on Mangrove Tourism approved by JNTU Hyderabad. She is passionate about sustainable tourism, research-driven education, and nurturing young minds to thrive in the dynamic fields of tourism and hospitality
